"Having premiered in three continents, “God Knows
Everything But Is Not A Snitch” tells the story of a
group of kids in a Rio favela (shantytown) that embarked
on an ambitious and imaginative project in an attempt to
stay out of trouble. Today, almost a decade later, the
result is an intricate 320 square meter scale model of
their favela constructed of broken bricks and inhabited
by hundreds of LEGO figures that was featured in the
Fifty-Second Venice Biennale. The film captures over
eight years of changes in their lives, their
neighborhood, and their travels, creating a stirring
glimpse of the transformative power of art".
