We are proud to offer the opportunity of internship
experiences. Our non-paid internships offer students an opportunity to
observe and work in all divisions of the Consulate General.
The objective of the program is to provide a meaningful learning and
work experience and to offer an opportunity to assess the foreign
affairs/diplomatic career first hand.
Typical experiences may include assisting in the issuance of visas and
passports, promoting the Brazilian culture, possible attendance in
commercial trade fairs and customer relations.
Internships are typically composed of 50% observation and 50% actual
work. It is our intention to provide a comprehensive learning
experience. We hope to provide students with an opportunity to be actual
participants and observers in the day-to-day operations of a foreign
agency.
Knowledge of Portuguese is welcome but not essential.
